    Forehead Lift Without Surgery

    Forehead Lift Without Surgery

    Non-Invasive Forehead Lift

You need shapely and youthful brows along with a smooth forehead for enhancing the appearance of your upper face. Overtime, the upper facial contours begin to droop and sag. The only way of correcting this natural process in the past used to be through forehead lift or brow lift.

However, now you can choose non-invasive surgical treatments, such as Botox brow lift or PDO thread lift for achieving a forehead lift without getting surgery performed. Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides non-surgical forehead lift treatments using Botox or PDO thread lift procedures to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding locations.

    PDO Threads Non-Surgical Forehead Lift

PDO thread forehead lift involves using dissolvable sutures for tightening and lifting the forehead skin. The treatment is useful in naturally modifying the brows and forehead appearance and removing the furrowed look of the brows and horizontal lines on the forehead.

The procedure is effective in correcting drooping or saggy eyebrows. It helps in creating a youthful facial appearance with minimal downtime and without leaving any scars.

    PDO Thread Brow Lift Mechanism

Eyebrow lift using PDO threads can provide a lift and regenerative effect. The threads would be inserted within the facial skin and lifted for an immediate lifting effect. The lifting effects provides more eye-to-brow space and stimulates the production of collagen that allows for regeneration of skin by increasing volume and firmness. Overtime, your skin will begin to appear younger.

How does PDO Thread Forehead Lift Work?

You will be asked to lie down on your back with your head up during the procedure. The plastic surgeon will mark areas that need to be treated. They will apply anesthetic on the treatment area for preventing discomfort and pain. PDO threads will be inserted into the skin layers around the forehead and eyebrows with a blunt or a sharp needle or cannula.

The threads will be inserted and anchored within the skin layers and lifted to tighten the skin and lift the eyebrow. The cannula or needles will be removed and any excess thread will be cut.

    Understanding Botox Brow Lift

Botox brow lift can be used for treating frown lines between the brows. The procedure involves the use of Botox Cosmetic (botulinum toxin type A) injections for elevating the height of the eyebrows. These shots relax underlying muscles for smoothing the skin. They relax the muscles between the eyebrows as well, which allows the forehead muscles to pull-up the muscles between the brows.

The treatment provider may place additional Botox injections at the end of the brows for helping those muscles relax as well. This makes the forehead muscles pull up on that area. The amount of lift you achieve may vary depending on the tone and age of your active muscles. The procedure can be useful in smoothing out deep wrinkles between the eyebrows without surgery.

Botox is a non-surgical procedure and entirely different from traditional brow lift with no downtime. Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby areas for forehead lift using PDO thread lift and Botox brow lift techniques.

How to Choose The Best Thigh Lift Surgeon in Beverly Hills, CA

    Best Thigh Lift Surgeon

Choosing the right surgeon for your thigh lift cosmetic surgery is probably the most important decision that will impact your final outcome. Your surgeon will guide and support you through every step of your thigh lift surgery process, from determining your candidacy to creating and executing a customized surgery plan to overseeing your recovery.

It is vital that you work with a cosmetic surgeon with whom you can communicate freely, have a good rapport, and most importantly, feel confident in their surgical skills. Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides thigh lift surgery to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Los Angeles, and surrounding communities.

Selecting a Board Certified Thigh Lift Surgeon

Your first preference should be to choose a plastic surgeon who has been board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). This prestigious certification reflects the outstanding training, skills, and experience of your surgeon in various plastic surgery procedures. Only a handful of plastic surgeons are awarded this certification every year after a rigorous selection process.

Staff Privileges at a Hospital or Surgery Center

You should check whether your surgeon plans to perform your thigh lift plastic surgery at a local hospital, a surgery center or a private surgical suite. In any case, the facility should have an accreditation from a reputable agency so that you are sure of their standards of care and the quality of their services. Discuss this issue during your initial thigh lift consultation with the surgeon.

    Professional Memberships

You should check whether the surgeon you are considering for your thigh lift is a member or fellow of one or more recognized plastic surgery associations, groups, or organizations. These memberships call for the best standards of care and accept highly rated plastic surgeons with an established track record. These memberships also help your surgeon to stay updated and in sync with the latest developments and innovations in their field of surgery.

    Training and Experience

At your pre-op consultation, be prepared to ask your cosmetic surgeon how many years of training and experience do they have in this field. A highly trained and experienced surgeon would be able to think quickly and make the right decisions in the operating room. They are equipped to deal with unexpected situations and emergencies and deliver excellent results even in case of complicated thigh lift procedures.

    Versatility of Surgical Techniques

A thigh lift cosmetic surgery can be performed using several different techniques and approaches. Your surgeon should be able to offer you different incision options, and create a personalized surgery plan in accordance with your unique lower body anatomy and your aesthetic goals. Versatile surgeons will be able to use common incisions to treat multiple sites, make your procedure less invasive and yet more effective, and minimize your risk of surgery.

    Before/After Pictures and Patient Reviews

A dedicated and established surgeon will share with your thigh lift before and after images as well as patient testimonials at the very outset. They will be completely transparent in their approach and will like you to make a well-informed decision after taking all facts into consideration. Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Los Angeles, and nearby areas for thigh lift surgery.

    Thigh Lift Surgery Recovery Time

    Thigh Lift Surgery

Following your thigh lift cosmetic surgery, you will have to set aside at least one week to focus exclusively on your recovery and allow the initial healing to occur naturally. For a successful and rapid recovery, following your surgeon’s post-op care instructions, keep your incision areas clean, and do not miss your follow-up visits to the surgeon’s office.

Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie provides thigh lift surgery to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Los Angeles, and surrounding locations.

    Immediately After the Surgery

Once your surgery is completed, you will be moved to an observation area for a few hours where the surgeon and the nursing team will monitor your condition. If the progress is taking place as expected, your surgeon may send you back home the same day.

You will feel some after-effects of general anesthesia for the first several hours. Your incision sites will be covered in bandages and drainage tubes may be inserted under the skin to prevent fluid accumulation. You will be required to wear a compression garment in the thigh area for the first few weeks.

    Recovery Timeline

    • In the first 24 hours following your thigh lift plastic surgery, you will most likely require help to perform regular chores and may even need assistance to visit the bathroom. Apply ice packs in the first 48 hours to reduce swelling in the incision sites. To ensure that your thigh tissue does not get stretched, it may be helpful to position your body appropriate with several pillows so that the upper legs do not have much pressure while you are healing.
    • From the second or third day, you can shower after carefully taking off the compression garment. You can also start performing light activities at home and take short walks to improve your blood flow for faster healing. However, in the entire first week, it is best to stay confined to home to allow for safe healing.
    • At the end of the first week, you may have an appointment with your cosmetic surgeon to remove sutures and drainage tubes, if you have healed sufficiently. Be prepared to share any concerns or ask questions if you have any at this point.
    • Sometime in your second week, you should be in a position to return to your workplace or resume your normal routine. At this time, you can start carefully sitting on your thighs, preferably with the help of pillows. At work, you should only perform sedentary or non-strenuous desk job at least until the healing improves.
    • After the first month, you may be able to stop using your compression garment after your surgeon’s approval. It is also the time to resume your exercise routine, but continue to avoid vigorous exercises for at least another two weeks. At six to eight weeks after your thigh lift plastic surgery, you may return to more active lifestyle and may lift objects up to five pounds at a time.
